Affiliate Program Terms

Who we are

Flying Prep makes modern, mobile-first practice for CLEP and DSST exams: adaptive practice, a readiness score, and a pass guarantee across 70+ exams. We make practice for these exams; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or official to CLEP, the College Board, or DSST.

Commission

You earn a flat $25 per referred customer's first real payment. Commission is earned one time per referred customer, on that customer's first successful payment of any kind (subscription or one-time purchase, whether or not a free trial preceded it); never on a trial signup alone. One number, any plan, no tiers to track.

Launch boost

For the program's first 90 days, we pay $40 per conversion to partners who give Flying Prep a top-3 listicle placement or a dedicated review. After that 90-day window, the rate steps down automatically to the standard $25. Everyone else earns the flat $25 from day one.

Attribution

We use a 60-day cookie with last-touch attribution: the most recent qualifying referral link a customer clicked within 60 days before purchase gets the credit. Your referral links use the ?atp= parameter (for example, flyingprep.com/?atp=YOURCODE). Use your personal link so clicks and conversions attribute to your account.

Payouts

• Frequency: monthly.
• Hold: each commission is held for 40 days after the customer's first payment before it becomes payable, so our 30-day satisfaction guarantee clears first.
• Minimum: $50. Balances below the minimum roll forward until you cross the threshold.
• Refunds: if a customer refunds within our 30-day guarantee window, the related commission is reversed (unpaid, or clawed back if already accrued).
• Timing: payouts are processed monthly and typically arrive within about two weeks of the monthly cycle after the 40-day hold clears.

Payouts are made via PayPal or bank transfer through our payout partner.

Coupons

If you create an affiliate coupon, it is $15 off the customer's first payment on the monthly plan. Coupon codes may only be shared inside your own content (your site, newsletter, video, or social posts). Posting your codes to coupon-aggregator or deal sites (RetailMeNot, Honey, Slickdeals, and similar) is prohibited and voids commissions on any conversions that flow through those placements. Aggregators intercept traffic that was already going to convert and add no value for either of us.

Brand rules

• No brand-term bidding. Do not run paid search on "Flying Prep" or close variants (misspellings, "Flyingprep", "Flying Prep CLEP", and the like).
• No false affiliation. Never describe Flying Prep as official, affiliated with, or endorsed by CLEP, the College Board, or DSST. We make practice for these exams; please mirror that language.
• FTC disclosure required. Every page, post, or video carrying your affiliate link must carry a clear disclosure (for example, "affiliate link" or "I may earn a commission").
• Honest reviews only. Say what you actually think. We would rather you critique us than oversell.

Fraud and abuse

Self-referrals are prohibited: you cannot earn a commission on your own account or a purchase you funded. No incentivized traffic: do not reward users for clicking your link or signing up. No rebrokering: do not pass your link or code through third-party paid placements or link resellers. We may withhold or reverse commissions, and may remove a partner from the program, for any violation of these terms or for activity we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

Changes to the program

We may update these terms with 14 days notice. Material changes to commission rates or attribution will always come with that notice so you can adjust or opt out.
